The war

If the world trembles from distant fire and steel, and the price of living rises like a quiet tide, I will not count the cost first I will count the faces I love. The sound of war may never reach our streets, but it travels in other ways in petrol signs changing overnight, in rice measured more carefully, in the silence between worries we do not say out loud. And still in this small home, in this soft light of ordinary days, there is something stronger than all the noise of the world. You. If fear comes, let it find me standing not unafraid, but unwilling to let it steal what matters most. I will learn, adjust, endure. I will stretch every ringgit, shield every moment, hold this life steady as long as I can. Because even if the world shifts, even if the ground feels uncertain love is still here. And as long as it is, we are not lost.
