SOME PEOPLE, SOME SILENCE

 
Naturally introverted,
I find peace in quiet,
in not having to explain myself.
But I’m selectively extroverted too,
when the energy is right,
when the space feels safe,
I show up fully.
It’s not that I’m shy.
I just know not every moment
deserves all of me.
